Summary
Hire, lead, mentor, and coach staff to ensure an engaged, high-performing team. Carry out priorities established by the Director and VP and comply with IT policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Foster coaching, feedback, and listening skills as strategic tools for team development.
- Provide appropriate, timely, fair, clear, and accurate written employee evaluations.
- Creation and maintenance of job descriptions to ensure appropriate team skill competency.
- Administrate and monitor assigned budgets. Assist with the development of annual budgets.
- Approve invoices and manage expenses.
- Point of escalation for issues. Proper and timely communication of team needs to senior leadership.
- Setting team direction including holding ultimate responsibility for items delegated to Team Members. Ability to lead Team based on Agile and Lean ideologies.
- Ensure Team is meeting Customer Service metrics and ServiceNow SLAs.
- Member of ERP Steering Committee and Leader of ERP Systems Administrator Committee.
- Management of monthly rolling two-year forecast with Director oversight.
- Stewardship of ERP environment management including governance and process improvement to ensure a stable and productive environment adhering to SOX and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership of managed services vendor relations including prioritization and delegation of tasks, resource management and budgeting.
- Participation in project intake reviews and processes including review for ERP impacts.
- Review and approval of enhancement requests and other ERP changes which may have budgetary or production impacts.
- Leading of ad-hoc MS Teams command centers and appropriate escalation for critical issues.
- Resolution of resource constraints.
- Capital request proposals including new positions.
- On-Call - leadership on-call only - no application support on-call.
- Ensure timely resolution of problems, adequate availability of ERP systems, and overall protection of Information assets.
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate appropriate training and continuing education of employees.
- Ensure ERP artifacts and documentation are timely, relevant, and correct including:
- Dependency, network, and architecture diagrams
- Committee chanters and materials
- Process and value stream maps
- Lead internal team projects and participate in cross-team initiatives.
- Create and maintain key stakeholder relationships throughout the organization.
Education and Experience
- Process improvement, release management, project management (3 years) , communication, troubleshooting, complex cloud environment experience (3 years), Oracle experience (3 years), vendor management (3 years).
- Bachelor Degree from accredited institution.
- Leadership & Supervision Experience.
- Experience in working with budgets preferred.
