Staffmark is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Columbus, OH, to hire an Assembly Technician for a temp-to-hire position. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the assembly field! Pay: $17-$19 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible schedule between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday) The Assembly Technician will work at various stations, performing a range of tasks, including assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, gluing sub-assemblies, and mechanical assembly of force measurement products. You will collaborate closely with production management to ensure the timely and high-quality manufacturing of products. Essential Job Functions: Gluing sub-assemblies using 2-part epoxy General mechanical assembly with hand, powered, or pneumatic tools Integrating PCBs and other electronic components into Bertec products Soldering wiring to PCB boards Assembling wire harnesses, cables, and electronic sub-assemblies Calibrating and testing products Lifting and physically handling components (up to 70 lbs, or 140 lbs with team assistance) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics Prior experience with electronics assembly, soldering, or mechanical assembly is a plus (training available) Ability to maintain accurate product calibration and testing records The services you offer are not without uplifting benefits to show our appreciation for your time and energy!
