Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Location: Lakewood, WA 98498 Duration: 5 Years to permanent Shift Hours: Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Days Off: Tuesday/Wednesday)-Swing Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Days Off: Wednesday/Thursday)-Swing Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Days Off: Tuesday/Wednesday) Job Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse 2 (LPN) will assist in the rehabilitation and care of patients and residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams. Job Description: Patient Rehabilitation: Assist with the rehabilitation of patients and residents according to the prescribed treatment plan. General Care: Attend to the overall care of patients, offering emotional and physical comfort while maintaining a safe and pleasant environment. Education & Collaboration: Participate in educational programs and treatment team conferences to enhance care delivery. Infection Control: Care for patients/residents with communicable diseases, following necessary sterilization and aseptic techniques. Observation & Reporting: Observe, record, and report the general condition of patients/residents, noting any changes in their health status. Therapeutic Environment: Foster a therapeutic environment by accepting patient behaviors and guiding them toward more rational responses. What We're Looking For: Proven ability to apply practical nursing principles and concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform and interpret basic physical assessments and treatment techniques. Attention to detail and clear, accurate reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications: CPR certification. Preferred Qualification: Licensed Practical Nurse License. BLS Certificate.
