Position Summary: SR. Admissions Coordinator

Skillfully answers calls from prospective patients from across the country in need of addiction treatment. Uses highly developed listening, investigative, and communication skills to expertly engage with each prospective patient, family member, or loved one to identify their particular need. Ultimately converts the call to an admission for the appropriate treatment solution. Accurately, thoroughly, and clearly documents each patient interaction in MS4.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Answers phone calls, emails, chats and texts in a timely manner according to established guidelines, from prospective patients seeking metal health and/or addiction treatment, referral accounts, mobile assessors, and business development representatives in the field.
  • Accurately and completely records all patient and patient-related interactions and information in MS4
  • Makes appropriate number of attempts to contact patients associated with any open file.
  • Follows up with patients as needed or as requested by managers.
  • Identifies outpatient leads and refers them to the appropriate team member for qualification.
  • Skillfully asks detailed questions as to how the patient heard about FRN, particularly if it was from one or our many referral sources.
  • Notifies the Referral Account Team according to established protocol whenever dealing with a referral source, whether it is assigned, unassigned, or unlisted.
  • Meet or exceed goals including advanced monthly KPI's.
  • Cooperatively works with Operations team, Referral Account team, and Business Development team with potential patient and/or referral source.
  • Skillfully sets the patient at ease by carefully explaining all aspects of the evaluation and admission process and about their selected facility.
  • Provides directions or arranges appropriate transportation services as needed to transport patient to programs. Ensures that travel plans are made and communicated effectively so that the client's arrival at the facility is seamless.
  • Solicits assistance from coworkers, team leads, and manager when encountering barriers.
  • Assists others to overcome barriers.
  • Assists with inbound referrals, outbound referrals, and interventions.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

High School Graduate/Equivalent required, Technical school/1 year college preferred

1-3 years related experience required, 3-5 years preferred

Core Work Schedule:

Tuesday through Saturday 2pm-10:30pm

  • Consistently demonstrates through conduct and communication the stability required to credibly and effectively assist patients.
  • Demonstrates a strong base of knowledge in psychiatric and addiction treatment and administration.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of health insurance and insurance industry nomenclature.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends and developments affecting the industry; knows the competition.
  • Demonstrates ability to clearly and succinctly communicate in both written and verbal forms.
  • Demonstrates an active desire to drive for results; steadfastly pushes self and others; consistently meets and/or exceeds goals.
  • Skilled at quickly building rapport and developing relationships.
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, MS Office software, and experience with CRM systems.
