Seeking a hybrid in office, Business analyst /Project manager, rate: $40-$60/hour. Description Implements and promotes effective project management discipline across the company so key initiatives and projects can be executed to achieve efficient, timely, and cost-effective outcomes. Elicit and document requirements, build out requirements and assist with prioritization. Trains personnel in project management methodologies and tools. Develops metrics/reports to track and communicate progress relative to established goals and objectives. 3 years work experience in a project management role or in a position that demonstrated an ability to manage projects and workflow process improvement, including researching, analyzing, recommending, and implementing technology and operational changes * Software proficiency with project management programs, presentation applications, and word processing solutions * Strong communication (oral/written/presentation) skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of management throughout the organization * Strong analytical, quantitative, and project management skills * Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically * Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems and to provide recommended solutions * Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented, changing environment * Demonstrated ability to work independently but also to build collaborative relationships Identify and deploy methodologies and tools (e.g., PMBOK, five project management stages of Initiating, Planning, Implementing, Controlling/Monitoring, and Closing, etc.) that can be used to assure effective project management across the company. Interface with business units on a regular and strategic basis to understand and analyze the expectations and needs of their external and internal customers and to identify and explore future projects. Stay abreast of relevant trends, emerging issues, best practices, alternative methodologies, and tools for achieving optimal results. Serve as a resource for project owners and managers. Support their efforts in developing appropriate project plans and management practices for their projects. Evaluate existing project management processes in and across business units, and identify opportunities to eliminate barriers, improve efficiency and quality, optimize people resources and cost, and improve delivery/completion time. Work closely with business unit managers to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement, development, and enhancement of project managers and project results. . Utilize computer systems and software to produce documentation, project plans, and reports as needed to support and monitor project activities. Develop communication strategies and materials to provide key stakeholders with ongoing communication about the status, risk, issues, and results of projects, as deemed appropriate. Serve as project coordinator for major projects as assigned.
