Title: Procurement Officer Location: Glen Allen, VA 23060 Pay Rate: $27.80/Hour without benefits Duration: 10+ months Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Job Description: Extensive working knowledge of federal and state government procurement policies for the purchase of Non-IT and IT goods, services and grants. Familiarity with federal government procurement policies and grants. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply state procurement regulations, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated experience in developing formal and informal Request for Applications/Proposals (RFA/Ps), Invitation for Bids (IFBs), and other contractual documents, and administrating contracts. Advanced knowledge of spot, term, sole source, and ordering agreements for goods and non-professional service procurements. Demonstrated experience researching techniques for obtaining goods and services; and experience analyzing data, developing reports, and applying business rules. Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
