As a CT Technologist at Salem Health, you'll be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging-delivering critical insights that guide patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Whether you're an experienced CT tech or a radiologic technologist ready to advance your career through paid, on-the-job training, you'll play a key role in supporting diverse and high-acuity cases. Cross-trained in both CT and X-ray, you'll contribute to our Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and advanced Cardiac Program, helping deliver accurate, timely imaging that directly impacts patient outcomes. Your ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards ensures that each scan contributes meaningfully to a patient's care journey. What you'll do

  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging tailored to patient condition and clinical need
  • Select and apply appropriate imaging protocols and radiation exposure factors following ALARA guidelines
  • Operate advanced imaging systems, including EPIC, PACS, Radiant, and Canon CT technology
  • Support high-acuity services, including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and specialty CT procedures
  • Document relevant clinical information and maintain accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure seamless patient care
  • Adapt to fast-changing priorities in a dynamic hospital environment
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities across imaging modalities to grow your skillset
  • Uphold ACR accreditation standards and contribute to a culture of quality and innovation

Background/experience

  • Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies
  • Must be licensed in CT by the OBMI OR registered in CT by the ARRT
  • Basic Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • One (1) year experience in CT preferred
