Job Title: Nursing Home Administrator

Payrate : $61.06/hr on W2 without benefits

Location: 3839 N. 3rd Street, Suite 209, Phoenix, AZ, 85012

Duration: 24+ months (possible extension)

Hours/week: 40hrs

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for the leadership, financial management and oversight of the multi-disciplinary Medicare skilled nursing facility that serves the long-term care and rehabilitative needs of Arizona's Veterans/members.
  • Ensures that the Client's resources are used efficiently to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychological well-being of each Veterans member.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of goats, objectives, programs, projects, policies and procedures rela1ed lo the operation of1he facility.
  • Enforces department and facility policies and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • This position is the "face " of the Client's and works lo build collaborative and cooperative relationships with federal and state agencies, Veteran Service Organizations and other community service groups. Learns, implements and monitors Arizona Management System (AMS) methods.
  • Utilizes AMS concepts and tools for problem-solving and continuous work/process improvements and efficiency


Required Skills:

  • Nursing home administration principles and practices.
  • Federal and State laws governing the operations of the Client - Law, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care/skilled nursing facility administration.


Required Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-6 year experience in the administration of skilled nursing facilities -


Required Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree although a master's degree is desired in Healthcare Administration or a closely related field of study.


Required License:

  • Must have a valid Arizona Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator license
  • Must possess current license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator in Arizona.
  • Valid driver's license is required


Additional info :

  • Must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card " provide all these requires credentials when your candidate is selected.
  • Frequent in-stale travel is required.
  • Must have a current TB Test
  • Position requires driving in the course of conducting State Business.


Must have :


  • Valid Arizona Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator license.
  • Current license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator in Arizona.
  • A minimum of 5-6 year experience in the administration of skilled nursing facilities.
