Overview

Our Center for Process Excellence team is on a mission to improve business outcomes and employee experiences by driving step-change improvements in critical enterprise processes, and the technology and analytics supporting these.

As a Sr Principal, Business Process Analyst (NPD/NPI/PLM), you will be responsible for delivering ground-breaking improvements in our New Product Development, New Product Introduction, and Product Lifecycle Management capabilities. This will require you to understand our current state, define a future-state vision, and work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team to deliver the change. The desired business outcomes include accelerating innovation by improving efficiency and effectiveness of teams engaged in NPD/NPI/PLM activities. Success will require close collaboration with team members across multiple Business Units, and the ability to influence changes in a global organization. This position is ideally suited for a self-starter that is comfortable in a dynamic environment, with experience in conceptual and analytical problem solving related to strategy, organizational design, roles, processes, technology, and metrics.



Responsibilities

    Collaborate with leaders and functional SMEs to develop an understanding of current state, define a future state vision, and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive gap analysis, future state design, and implementation execution - including definition of requirements and testing to ensure solutions deliver the encouraged impact, in close collaboration with business and technology team members
  • Ensure highly productive discussions and outcomes by defining agendas, clearly outlining objectives, and facilitating executive level collaboration sessions
  • Build project and process content for audiences varying from business subject matter authorities to executive committees
  • Measure impact improvements implemented, and complete interventions where vital to drive increased impact and adoption


Qualifications

  • 12+ years progressive experience in consulting, R&D, and/or manufacturing roles related to new product development, new product introduction, and/or product lifecycle management
  • Track record of optimally completing large-scale projects across people, process, data, and technology in sophisticated, global organizations
  • Strong process approach, ability to optimally translate business problems into implementable solutions with quantifiable business benefits
  • Strong influencing skills, confirmed ability to work across organizational boundaries motivating change and harmonization across a global organization
  • Results oriented attitude, operates with high sense of urgency. Consistent record of solving problems, breaking down barriers and delivering results ahead of schedule
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Process discovery, design, and implementation experience in a regulated environment
  • Experience deploying SAP S/4Hana PLM or equivalent solutions a plus
  • Knowledge of business process modelling and process mining solutions required
  • Solid understanding of Lean concepts and tools a plus
  • Experience working on an Agile / Scrum team a plus
  • Prosci certifications a plus
  • Product Owner and/or Scrum Master certifications a plus
  • Master's Degree in an Engineering, Science or Supply Chain subject area
