Title: Accountant Senior

Location: Trenton, NJ 08611 (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $22.12/Hour without benefits

Duration: 4 months contract

Work hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM - EST

Note:



  • BGV/Background check: Need fingerprinting (Identogo), CLP needs to pay up to $65 or more; Only IN-Person interviews (submit only those profiles who fulfill all these requirements).
  • Must provide transcripts and Writing Sample.


Job Description:



  • Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s):
  • Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Scanner.


Computer software to be used:



  • mCarrier, Outlook, Word, and Excel


Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:



  • Knowledge of the principles and methods used in accounting and auditing.
  • Ability to plan and carry out analytic studies and investigations, or research assignments in order to produce reports containing clear, sound, and accurate analytic data findings and recommendations, including suggested implementation techniques.
  • Ability to learn to analyze accounting and auditing problems, organize auditing and accounting work, and develop work methods. Ability to learn to apply auditing and accounting methods to auditing situations.
  • Ability to learn to check financial records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the law.
  • Ability to maintain records and files.


Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement:



  • Graduation from an accredited college or university. with a bachelor's degree, including or supplemented. by 21-semester hour credits in professional accounting courses.


Desired skills:



  • Excellent writing skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel.


Role & Responsibilities:



  • Prepare clear, sound, accurate, and informative statistical and other reports containing findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Ensure department regulations and accounting procedures are observed.
  • Conduct audits and examinations of books and financial affairs.
  • Prepare reports of audits.
