Description The Technician will provide Desktop, Laptop and Printer support. They will also need to assist with physical network troubleshooting as needed as they will be the go-to person for any IT related conversations at the plant. Printer support is mostly internally except for ordering new ones, which the technician will do. Need good IT presence. They will also handle the defacto admin role for badging and access control. Need to be comfortable with troubleshooting issues with Desktop and Laptop machines. They will be getting a lot of "drive by" issues to support at the T1/T2 level. They will install new equipment on plant floor, handle imaging and support the iPad tablets at plants, so JAMF experience is nice to have. They have about 58 plant floor / 76 office users. -- A+ and Net+ would be nice. --- Experience with RF scan guns helpful. -- Will need steel toe shoes and eye / ear wear will be provided Work hours: Can start at 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm but not start at 9am. Note: This is a contract to hire role, but they are unsure how soon they can convert them. They would like to convert them by end of Q2 but it could go longer. Note: They might eventually allow for a remote day but will be onsite 100% to start out. Note: Need to be open to being on call on the weekend as needed.
