Shift - Monday to Friday; part-time, potential for OT, as needed

What this job involves - The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages for the office. This role ensures timely and accurate distribution of correspondence, maintains mailroom equipment, and provides excellent customer service to internal staff.

What is the day to day?
Sort and collate mail

Dispose of junk mail

Sort mail, such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders and payments

Deliver mail to departments

Resolve issues with incorrect, returned mail

Receive outgoing mail and apply correct postage

Arrange for pickup of outgoing mail

Record registered mail

Place mail in proper buckets for distribution

Process outgoing shipments (Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL and USPS)

Weigh mail to determine correct postage

Ensure office is adequately stocked with mail supplies

Stock copy rooms and printing devices

Clean and service copy machines

Any and all other duties and tasks assigned

Desired experience and technical skills -
Required
High school diploma or equivalent

1 to 2 years of related experience

Must be reliable and professional

Self-motivated, organized, and strong time management skills

Customer service mindset

Preferred
Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS pick up/delivery policies

Work Environment
Ability to spend much of the day on his/her feet. Must be able to work quickly with hands and have good hand/eye coordination

Regularly lift, move and/or carry up to 10 pounds; frequently lift, move and/or carry up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift, move and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
