Staffmark is hiring! We're looking for a dedicated Computer Repair Technician to join our team in Houston, TX, for an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity with our partner company. Schedule & Pay: Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday (rare overtime) Pay Rate: $15 per hour 1-hour lunch break Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in computer repair/assembly Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Experience with Lenovo, Dell, HP, desktops, Chromebooks, PCs, and tablets Responsibilities: Evaluate customer requests and diagnose equipment issues Disassemble and inspect machines using tools and measuring devices Perform repairs and replacements according to specifications Communicate effectively throughout the repair process to ensure accuracy Reassemble machines and conduct performance tests after repairs Install and configure new equipment, including software and peripherals Maintain an inventory of repair parts and order supplies as needed Perform quality checks to ensure equipment functionality Utilize Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Employee Benefits: At Staffmark, we value our employees and offer a range of benefits to support your well-being.
