In the role of Coastal EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
Perform analysis and design of coastal restoration projects including marsh restoration and beach nourishment; shoreline protection projects including revetments and breakwaters; and navigation projects including dredging, marinas, and harbors.
- Responsibilities may also include preparation of construction plans and specifications, developing technical reports, preparation of proposals including project scope and fee estimates, project management, and perform other duties as needed.
- Suitable candidates must possess strong analytical and communication skills and demonstrate familiarity with wave growth and transformation, coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, littoral processes, sediment transport, marine dredging, and basic geotechnical or structural systems.
- Perform all other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
