The Regional Device Support Specialist (RDSS) is a key position within the US Business Unit. The primary role of this position is to support commercial and clinical trial oncology patients utilizing the Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) device over an assigned region in the US. The RDSS serves as a technical expert on the device that delivers TTFields and is the primary interface for the patient and caregiver.

This is a full-time, exempt, field based position reporting to the Regional Manager, Device Support Specialist..

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support and honor our "Patient Forward" mission
  • Adhere to timelines and guidelines for conducting patient interactions
  • Travel to patient homes and to physician offices, often on short notice
  • Conduct regular, in-home patient visits and provide the following:

    • TTFields education and treatment initiation as well as enhanced training sessions for new patients
    • Technical analysis and troubleshooting of patient equipment, replacing components as necessary through a defined procedure
    • Monthly follow up visits and data collection with in-depth analysis in the form of verbal and written communication
    • Serve as technical representative to assigned medical centers
    • Provide patient support by phone or in person as necessary, often on short notice, including beyond normal business hours and potentially weekends and holidays
    • Work independently within an assigned regional territory while collaborating with cross-functional team members


  • Must be flexible to accommodate the needs of the business
  • Complete ongoing assessments that demonstrate learning and adoption of training material
  • Managing administrative tasks including but not limited to: expense reporting, documentation in customer relationship management system, equipment inventory management, home office supplies/logistics (as applicable), ongoing trainings, assessments, and other regulatory tasks
  • Adhere to proper administration, maintenance, and cleanliness guidelines for fleet vehicle



QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:



  • Bachelor's degree, certification in allied health, or relevant work experience preferred
  • Patient care experience preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Outlook, manipulating computer files, following test and troubleshooting procedures (experience with Concur and SAP a benefit)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Commercial air travel required
  • Amount of travel required within assigned territory could be up to 80%
  • Travel outside assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays, may also be required
  • Primary residence must be within assigned territory
  • Assigned territory subject to change
  • Attendance at company meetings both in and out of assigned territory required
