     | Essential Job Duties | Join our dynamic Environmental Services team as a 
       Crew Leader I, where you'll lead essential projects, such as power washing entrances, window washing, waxing floors, and more. This role offers an exciting opportunity to guide a dedicated team, ensuring the 
       cleanliness and functionality of campus spaces. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, resolving maintenance issues, and delivering excellent customer service. Key responsibilities and duties include but are not limited: 
       
 Lead projects, including power washing, window washing, floor waxing, and re-lamping fixtures and dispensers
Inspect and verify maintenance discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
Provide support to other zones as needed, filling in for vacant positions or absenteeismCollect and submit timesheets within established timelinesPerform critical duties during adverse weather or emergencies as assignedComplete accident reports within 24 hours of an incidentAssist with equipment inventory and maintain monthly inventory of storage closet suppliesSubmit supply orders for manager approval to ensure adequate stock levelsTrain new employees, ensuring they understand tasks and safety protocolsTransport employees to various locations for assignmentsCollaborate with maintenance staff inside and outside the unit to resolve issues efficientlyAddress and resolve customer requests via radio communications, work orders, and direct interactions

 This position has been designated as essential personnel for the University and may be required to report to work during adverse weather conditions even though the University may be operating on an alternate scheduleThis position may assist with snow and ice removal under the direction of a supervisor

     | Minimum Experience/Education | Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 
       Special certification may be required for some of these positions.
