Davidson College invites applications for a two-year position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics starting July 1, 2025. We seek a physicist whose teaching is grounded in inclusive pedagogy and who will primarily teach our introductory studio (combined lecture and laboratory) physics courses. Depending on interest and experience, teaching an advanced course is possible. The college teaching expectation is five classes per year. Candidates are expected to be highly committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and to the value of scholarly research with undergraduate students. Candidates must possess a PhD in Physics or related field by July 2025. Apply online only at http://employment.davidson.edu.
