HDR Engineering is currently seeking a Transmission Siting Lead\Environmental Project Manager to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Environmental and Power Delivery professionals in Texas. Primary Responsibilities As part of a well-established practice in Texas, you will have the opportunity to lead transmission line and substation routing and siting efforts while also managing diverse Environmental projects in Texas and beyond. You will likely have prior experience managing and providing technical leadership on small/medium projects and are now ready to take on a broader role overseeing all aspects of larger and more complex projects. Additionally, you will have the desire and drive to grow a high-performing team to help execute these projects. You must have a strong background in environmental and related site development services pertaining to the power industry. The position will focus on the transmission line and substation routing and siting, primarily in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana but also in other Regions as needed. The position encompasses a client focus, networking and establishing client relationships, developing leads, and strategic thinking in future directions for both our clients and programs. The position requires a person able to visualize, build and direct a strategic program focused on siting and related activities. The successful candidate will be expected to perform non-routine tasks on multiple projects simultaneously; contribute to researching and writing concise technical documents; assist with diverse projects and innovate and follow through to completion of all assigned and delegated tasks. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team as well as complete tasks within tight deadlines.
