Position Purpose |
To teach cheer specific skills, competitive strategy, and assist student leaders with program development. |
Required Qualifications |
- 2-5 years as coach at high school or collegiate level
- Sport specific experience as a player or coach
CPR/AED & First Aid certification- Able to attain USA Cheer Safety and Risk Management certification prior to start of the season

Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities |
- Plan and implement team practices, conditioning workouts, and routines.
- Coach competitions.
- Supervise and coordinate with assistant coach(es).
- Assist and advise student officers and leaders.
- Follow policies of the club sport manual.
- Foster athletic development amongst team members.
- Assist in all administrative aspects of the club including, but not limited to: monitoring completion of club sport waivers and player eligibility; development of the annual budget; scheduling competitions and officials; communicate with club sport office regarding facility needs; management of home competition; travel arrangements; website updates; newsletter mailings; fundraising.
