Associate Lecturer, Public Relations Curry College seeks a part-time faculty member to teach courses in Public Relations in our School of Business and Technology. The School offers undergraduate majors, minors or concentrations in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship/Small Business, Finance, Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Public Relations, Residential Property Management, and Sport & Recreation Management. The School also offers a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting. Course descriptions for each discipline can be viewed in the College Catalog which can be reviewed at www.curry.edu/catalog. Courses are delivered through in-person instruction and would require that successful candidates teach in-person at the Milton, Massachusetts campus. Part-time faculty are responsible for planning and presenting the material assigned for their courses; establishing specific requirements and informing students of the requirements; grading examinations and projects; submitting grades and early alerts in a timely fashion; explaining grades to students; and utilizing Canvas as the learning management system. Part-time faculty are expected to be available to interact electronically with students outside the classroom as well as to hold requisite office hours. Job Requirements: A minimum of a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is required for classroom teaching. Relevant disciplines include Public Relations, Communication, Marketing and related fields. Significant and relevant professional experience in Public Relations is preferred. Evidence of successful teaching is required. Courses this faculty member would teach include Principles of Public Relations, Public Relations Case Studies, Public Relations Management, Public Relations Writing, and Public Relations Research and Campaign Design.
