Here's what you'd do:

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Interest in and ability to stretch and support Integration and Test activities.
  • Responsibilities include performing requirements analysis, establishing requirements traceability/flow down, preparing specifications, and managing requirements.
  • Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, suppliers, and IPT leads and making and presenting PowerPoint presentations.
  • Seeking a Design Requirements Engineer to generate and verify legacy and new system and subsystem level requirements.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of requirements definition, DOORS, and MS Office suite experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience owning the design and development process throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, including identifying stakeholder needs, high and low-level system architecting (utilizing MBSE through Cameo), and requirements definition (SRS, DRS).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS and CAMEO.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with detailed system verification activities, including definition of verification methodology.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree.
  • Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
