Job Description

Role Overview:

Join Our Team as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Inpatient GYN Services! MSK is seeking a passionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Inpatient GYN Service (Nights) and provide expert care to our surgical and benign GYN patients. As part of a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK, you'll play a crucial role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered cancer care that supports our mission, values, and standards. You'll work closely with a dynamic healthcare team, collaborating with physicians and specialists to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive care to inpatients with gynecologic malignancies and benign gynecologic conditions, performing consultations, evaluating patients, and documenting pre-operative notes for surgical cases. You will also implement and evaluate patient education programs, ensuring our patients receive the clinical support they need for optimal recovery. Key Qualifications:

    Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of GYN experience as an APP is preferred
OR
  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 2+ years of experience in a GYN environment
  • Related National NP certification

Additional Information:

Location: 160 E. 53rd Street

Hours: 3, 12 hour shifts weeknights (7p-7a)

Pay Range: 144K-182K

Reporting to: Manager, APP

This position is open to new and experienced APPs
