The Rutgers University Graduate School of Education (

The mission of the School Counseling program is to prepare culturally competent professional school counselors for the roles and responsibilities of school counseling in the twenty-first century, towards promoting equity, inclusion, and social justice for students in K-12 schools. In response to the increasingly diverse demographic landscape of the United States and New Jersey in particular, the School Counseling program aims to recruit and admit diverse student cohorts and has a multicultural programmatic focus dedicated to empowering all students, increasing parent engagement, eliminating the achievement gap, and addressing biopsychosocial and systemic strengths and challenges that interact with academic success. |

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the School Counseling Program within the Graduate School of Education.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Answers phone calls.
- Provides information to students and coordinates administration of clinical partnerships for them.
- Establishes and maintains databases of all project clientele.
- Maintains the payroll for student employee.
- Processes project reimbursements and costs.
- Maintains the budget records for revenue and expenditures along with generating budget reports.
- Generates grant reports.
- Prepares purchase orders.
- Approves invoices for equipment and supplies.
- Maintains grant inventory.
- Processes and tracks scholarship stipends.
- Processes travel expenditures and coordinates project meetings, conference and training sessions, as well as completing all other grant tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of program coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.

Certifications/Licenses |
- Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver's license would be required for this position.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
|
Preferred Qualifications |
- Two years of related experience or any combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
- Website and social media development, excellent organization skills, excellent communication skills, academic or professional experience in school-based mental health (e.g., school counseling, school-based clinical mental health counseling), master's degree in counseling or a related field.

- Sitting for extended periods of time as well as flexibility in hours as events at times run outside of normal hours and out of the office setting.
