About the role 10x Genomics makes products that enable researchers to answer biology's hardest and most elusive questions with single cell and spatial biology technology. Software is at the core of how 10x Genomics connects with customers, and we are seeking a Product Manager, Software, to lead the development of innovative web and e-commerce experiences that transform how customers engage with our products. This role is ideal for a highly motivated product manager with experience in developing customer facing and internal tools, and passion for solving complex problems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across R&D and Commercial to shape product strategy, prioritize key features, and launch new solutions that empower scientists worldwide. To learn more about us and what we're working on, visit this page: https://www.10xgenomics.com/recruiting/product-manager What You'll Be Doing Ensure we deliver impactful, well-designed interactive sales tools and web experiences that customers love, such as the Experiment Builder and Grant Assistant in the 10x Store. Perform independent research to understand complex workflows, and uncover business cases for customer facing web functionality Drive consensus across cross-functional software and commercial leaders on features and initiatives Develop and implement internal processes by leveraging strong leadership, planning and collaboration skills. Develop customer/product requirements, prioritize projects and evaluate trade-offs. Communicate problems and solutions clearly to all levels and roles across the company. Analyze metrics and analytics to assess business impact and make data-driven product decisions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) 2 years of experience in product management. That said, here are some skills and experiences that will help you succeed-roughly in priority order: Exceptional research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify patterns and distill complex problems into business requirements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills, with experience navigating complex organizational challenges, identifying solutions and driving change. Experience working with engineering and UX designers to deliver high quality software products. Robust project management skills with a proven ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in leveraging metrics and analytics to guide product decisions. Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
