We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Property & Casualty Construction lines team in Wichita, KS! This person will serve as the day-to-day contact for all client requests within a book of business with direction from the Account Executive and prepares all relevant renewal materials from premium and loss summaries, exposures, coverage comparison, and premium and rate statements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with Account Executives on client interactions, negotiations, technical analysis, and program design and support with new client on-boarding
- Build ability to anticipate upcoming needs and changes through client or underwriter communications or industry changes
- Assist in the creation of marketing submissions and manage ongoing negotiations with carriers
- Receive quotes, review for accuracy and desired coverages, terms, pricing from submission, generate and populate the proposals, and send to Account Executive for completion/review
- Receive policies, send instructions to the applicable Center of Excellence representative, and keep Center of Excellence team abreast of any changes that occur during negotiations
- Perform premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation and master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies
- Other duties that fall within scope of the job

Required skills and experiences:
- High school diploma required
- 5+ years of insurance or professional work experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work within AMS and maintain data completeness standards
- Required to obtain property and casualty license within 60-90 days of hire, unless already licensed
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Some travel required (up to 20% depending on book of business & industry)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
