Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements, policies, and procedures, including timely and accurate student collections, refunds, and overages.
* Manage student accounts receivable aging and maintain timely communication with students to ensure monthly payments.
* Oversee accounts payable and invoice processing, including coding, reporting, collections, and payment plans.
* Maintain textbook and supply inventory, ensuring accuracy through physical inventory counts.
* Handle student account activity, including exception requests, transfer credits, charges, credits, and withdrawal/reenter adjustments.
* Provide exceptional customer service to students, collaborating effectively with other departments.
* Coordinate with the Financial Aid office, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Assist in maintaining professional and technical knowledge of corporate and accounting principles.
* Supervisory Responsibility: You may supervise 1-2 Business Office Assistants.



Qualifications

Your Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred but not required.
* 3-5 years of experience in a business office environment.
* Experience in accounts receivable, collections, inventory management, financial reporting, and proprietary education desired.
* Proficiency in Excel required.
* Some travel may be required.
