This position reports to

R&D Systems Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.

This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors in Athens, GA. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in one or more areas of the assigned areas such as software development, software quality engineering, software testing, DevOps, cybersecurity, software release, support and maintenance, and/or release management, with limited supervision.
*Testing and troubleshooting the final system setup and ensuring its successful rollout through training and retraining the customers and providing subsequent ongoing support and services.
*Ensuring that all required resources are in place to implement software on-time and on-budget.
*Contributing to the software product roadmap and portfolio through suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's candidates with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in software development for en-gineering solutions or have 5 years of progressively more complex experience in software devel-opment.
  • Proficiency with C#, experience with C/FORTRAN is a plus.
  • Solid understanding with SQL, Python, and additional scripting or analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in generative modeling architectures and techniques
  • Knowledge of NEMA electric motors and applicable IEEE industry standards is a plus
  • Able to adapt and solve complex issues in a timely manner
  • Strong communication and team skills to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.
