This is a full-time 40 hours/week academic year position (10 months) that runs August through May each year, with hiatus in the months of June and July. The position is located on campus in Hanover, NH and is primarily an on-site position with the expectation of 4 days per week on campus, and 1 day per week remote work flexibility. During heavy programming weeks, 5 days on-site may be required.

Position Purpose
As assigned by the Executive Director, Co-Curricular Learning, the Program Coordinator provides administrative, event, and program support and coordination as a floating resource for co-curricular events and programs at Tuck, including support for and across Tuck's six Centers, Tuck's Visiting Executive Program, Tuck Compass, and other Tuck events and programs as assigned.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  1. 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  2. Strong written and oral communication skills, project management, and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to work independently while juggling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
  4. Experience with a variety of office technologies and workplace collaboration tools and ability to quickly master and adapt to a variety of technology resources.
  5. Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
  6. Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of students, alumni, affiliated faculty, and colleagues across Tuck and Dartmouth.
  7. Able to collaborate with others as primary means to achieve results.
  8. Able to work evening hours and occasional weekend hours in support of programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience and skill supporting student-facing co-curricular or other programs for a higher education institution.
  2. Experience and skill in marketing communications, event planning, social media platforms, and website management tools.

Key Accountabilities


Description
1. Program and Event Coordination:


  • Program Coordination (35%): Handles a variety of administrative and logistics tasks for programs and speaker series, including logistics related to visitors; reservations of classrooms; placement of facilities, IT, and catering orders; and compilation of materials such as nametags and signage.

  • Communications (15%): Creates, contributes to, edits, formats, and distributes printed, digital, and promotional and educational materials and communications for centers, programs, and events. Coordinates as needed with fellow centers, Tuck Communications, and other Tuck and Dartmouth departments.

  • Program Delivery and Evaluation (15%): Manages program events, registration, evaluation processes, other logistical arrangements, and production of printed and digital materials. Staffs programs and events, resolving participant issues, and supervising support staff (AV technicians, facilities, etc.)

2. Operations Support and Project Management: Assists in the procurement of materials and vendor services and may manage, process, track, and verify payment and reimbursement of expenses; and administers business systems, data analytics, and records. Collaborates with colleagues within Centers and more broadly at Tuck to manage, support, and complete shared projects and assignments.

3. Constituent Engagement: Serves as a contact for and responds to inquiries from students, alumni, faculty, and professional staff colleagues, and other constituents.
