Full-time onsite position (Sparta, Tennessee) Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; either Sun - Thurs or Mon - Fri (candidate preference)
Job Overview:
The Sr. Human Resources Partner (Sr. HRP) plays a strategic role in supporting and driving the human resources initiatives for the assigned business units. This position partners with leadership and employees to address HR-related challenges, enhance performance, and foster a positive organizational culture. The Sr. HRP will focus on implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives and goals.
Strategic HR Support: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing guidance on HR strategies, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management. Align HR goals with the business needs and objectives.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns, helping to resolve conflicts, mediate disputes, and ensure a respectful and inclusive workplace. Address employee grievances and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies.
Performance Management: Provide guidance on performance evaluations, feedback, and coaching for employees. Assist managers in setting performance goals, managing underperformance, and driving employee development.
Learning & Development: Partner with the Learning and Development team to identify training and development needs, ensure the delivery of relevant programs, and support career development initiatives for employees.
HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and report on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, employee engagement, retention rates) to identify trends and drive improvements. Use data to support decision-making and provide insights into HR processes.
Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes to labor laws and communicate necessary updates to the organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 3 to 5 years of HR generalist experience preferred, with at least 2 years in a business partner or strategic HR role. Experience working within manufacturing preferred. 2 or more years experience with Employee Relations and 2+ years with Investigations experience.
