Position Summary:
The Director of Clinical Education ensures the availability of clinical sites for the educational experience of our Respiratory Therapy students. As a mission-driven institution, we are committed to impacting the lives of our students and the communities they will serve. The DCE will be responsible for preparing students for their clinical experience through lab practice, classroom lectures, and coordinating necessary requirements for clinical placement. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: * Secure new clinical affiliation agreements (contracts) as required by the program SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY The Respiratory Therapy Director of Clinical Education is responsible for the supervision of the students in his/her classroom and the students at the clinical sites/laboratory. The Respiratory Therapy Director of Clinical Education is responsible for scheduling and supervising the clinical instructors so that the clinical students are all seen as required by the program. In the absence of the Program Director, the Director of Clinical Education assumes the Program Director's duties and responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
