We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated IT Identity Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Systems Administration team. This individual will be the key to our success in building and supporting our Nashville distribution facility and New Balance Corporate. At New Balance, we seek active learners who love to use modern technology tosolve challengingproblems.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Configure and maintain a global technology portfolio covering on-premise Active Directory, Entra ID, HRIS (Workday) to AD integration, SSO connectors & interfaces, and LDAP/Kerberos implementations.
  • Administer cloud technologies with focus on Microsoft Entra ID (Azure SSO, Azure SFTP, Azure File Sync) and assist with Microsoft 365 management (Exchange/SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Intune, Teams, etc.).
  • Audit authentication and authorization access periodically, review data and remediate where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policies & standards in coordination with Information Security.
  • Assist with advanced implementations and integrations such as Zero Trust initiatives, MFA, password-less authentication, identity automation, AI and ML based detection and remediation systems, etc.
  • Document technical processes and collate all policies and procedures into one repository.
  • Build and maintain scripts utilizing PowerShell to improve infrastructure system processes and interface with other technologies.
  • Provide timely support services to on-site and remote employees with requests and technical issues.
  • Assist Network Engineers with network upgrades, refreshes, and project-related work.
  • Provide basic secondary support for end user technology including end user devices, end user requests, etc., in backing up or assisting a peer who is primarily responsible for end user technology.
  • Diligently document information in service management tool related to changes, incidents, problems, and asset/CMDB-related records.
  • Conduct Changes and Incident Management following ITIL-based best practices.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting resolution gaps within the Infrastructure Support.
  • Support and maintain effective relationships with:
    • End users up to the executive level
    • Vendors and third-party providers
  • Identify and drive Continuous Process Improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects and other related duties, including lifting parts and packaging, as required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree a plus) with a technical major, such as Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology with primary focus on Identity & Access Management and Cloud Collaboration technologies.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in major IAM technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO connectors, SAML, LDAP, SCIM methodology, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) systems, etc.
  • In-depth experience managing large server/cloud environments, particularly with respect to updating & maintaining operating system levels and reducing administration efforts via automation.
  • Understanding of (or willingness to learn) warehouse systems and how they connect to the network; ability to troubleshoot data network path end-to-end from warehouse systems & applications into the network.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using common network management tools.
  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, and be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders.
