Business Line Leader Emergency Lighting

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and drive the implementation of an offering (product/solution/service) strategy to align with and support the relevant business strategy. Each day, you will drive the allocation of resources across the portfolio of product lines, in collaboration with other relevant functions, to ensure that each product line has the capability to execute its own strategic plans. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring the offering portfolio to ensure that a healthy mix and vitality is maintained.

You will be mainly accountable for:
1.Shaping Strategic Portfolios: Leading the development and execution of strategic plans for product categories, seamlessly integrating go-to-market models and segment strategies to propel growth and profitability.
2.Igniting Collaboration and Innovation: Partnering with R&D, sales, and manufacturing teams to evaluate product feasibility, anticipate market trends, and redefine Emergency Lighting products and services with cutting-edge innovation.
3.Accelerating Performance: Establishing and tracking KPIs, optimizing pricing strategies, and approving business plans to align products with strategic goals and maximize impact.
4.Inspiring Leadership: Empowering and cultivating high-performing marketing and sales teams, instilling a customer-first mindset, and building talent pipelines through robust development and succession planning.
5.Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to ABB's values, ethics, and group standards into every aspect of operations, ensuring integrity and accountability across teams
6.Growth & Business Strategy: Support business development, uncovering growth opportunities, and steering innovation to enhance customer satisfaction and elevate product profitability.

• 1.Over 15 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong technology background and expertise in the electrical construction/lighting industry.
• 2.In-depth knowledge of lighting products and IoT solutions.
• 3.Proven experience managing product strategy and leading product teams.
• 4.Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and excellent communication abilities.
• 5.Experience in agile product development within related industries.
• 6.Results-driven with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset; fluent in English, with French proficiency a plus.
