JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Associate Risk Manager, this position is responsible for coordination, administration of contracts and contract documents for ACCO and subsidiaries projects. Position does not require supervision of others. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Log in, track and gain approvals for electronic signature documents.
- Contribute to pre-qualifications of bidders for contract packages.
- Provide contract information to Purchasing Department for inclusion in subcontracts.
- Review project specifications and ensure contractor compliance. Review contractor extra compensation claims and compose, and process contract change orders.
- Order certificates of insurance for our customers through ACCO's broker.
- Review and organize ACCO's subcontractor's certificates of insurance.
- Maintain contracts log
- Act as liaison between general contractors, project management, Administration department, and other ACCO departments.
- Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
- Assist Risk Manager in acquisition of insurance.
- Specials projects as required and other duties as assigned by manager.
- Negotiate Master Agreements, Riders, and other contract documents with major customers in conjunction with General Counsel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive computer knowledge:
- Excel - Capable of using Macros, databases, graphs, reports, forms, formulas and functions.
- Word - Capable of creating new documents, letters, etc.
- Internet - Provide detailed data searches and online applications
- Westlaw experience, a plus
- Able to edit text:
- PDF writable software (BlueBeam)
- Ensure data accuracy (98% accuracy required in all work products)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and able organize data
- Able to negotiate and resolve conflicts
- 12+ years of Contracts experience in construction industry strongly preferred; College Degree preferred
- Able to work in a deadline driven / sometimes hectic work environment while maintaining professional behavior

HOURS: Monday through Friday beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Eight hours per day is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary due to business needs. TRAVEL: O - 5% of the time to and from the assigned office location to regional branch offices and/or to project/customer site(s). Competitive Wages:
$43.07 to $45.68 per hour.
