Internship Program

The Parker Internship Program is focused on the development of new talent by exposing interns to the dynamic and challenging field of corporate and manufacturing finance. Interns gain a valuable understanding of real-world projects, tasks, challenges, and opportunities that exist within the industry. This paid internship is used as a springboard into the Accounting Leadership Development Program, by which practical experience gained during an internship creates an exceptionally prepared candidate. This placement will run from January '25 through May '25. Participants are provided with specific, meaningful, and measurable goals within the Corporate finance function they will be supporting. The Corporate function that is available for placement is within the Corporate Credit Department. The Corporate credit function over-see's Parker global trade accounts receivable portfolio. The candidate will have an opportunity to have exposure to and experiences across Parker's global businesses plus customer interactions.

Structure

  • Assignment at a Parker Operating Location or Corporate Headquarters
  • Report Out Meeting
  • Final Review

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in-office 10 - 20 hours per week during the assigned period (hours and days are flexible based on Parker and candidates schedule)
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States
  • Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team
