How you will make history here... Responsible for the administration surrounding a variety of foundational transactions and systems related to HR policies, practices and procedures across multiple skill/knowledge areas including the employee life cycle, compensation, benefits, leave administration, and general HR policy, procedure or program interpretation. This position is responsible for supporting employees and managers across a specified location which requires knowledge of benefits, policies, procedures and systems. Typically will provide initial support services to employees and/or managers with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timeliness. Operates under general supervision. What you will do... 1. Handle basic policy/procedure requests. Manage multiple diverse requests/questions received from HR, employees and managers regarding various HR policies, procedures, programs and systems by understanding and/or executing various processes and/or accessing various systems to obtain needed information to provide solutions. 2. Perform general leave administration for hourly employees. Provide employee with all necessary paperwork and direction and follow up to ensure the process is executed appropriately. Manage the appropriate changes within Workday in an accurate and timely manner. During leave, act as contact for employee with regards to issues, questions, etc. Coordinate with occupational health on leaves as appropriate including return to work matters. Educate employees and manager on leave policy and procedures. 3. Perform Kronos administration. Provide basic Workforce Timekeeper support and administration to managers/supervisors (time card owners) to ensure accurate and timely time card submission. Provide basic Workforce Absence Management support to time cards owners surrounding relevant attendance tracking polices to ensure accurate progressive disciplinary actions. Manage the Kronos Leave processes to ensure accurate leave tracking and accrual balances for employees. 4. Provide certain HRIS/Workday Administration. Provide managers and employees basic support around manager self-service and employee self-service around the employee portal and Workday to facilitate the company's overall philosophy of employee self-sufficiency. 5. Administer operational and compliance reporting. Execute custom and/or ad hoc operational and compliance reporting from various systems (Workday, Kronos etc) for appropriate stakeholders. 6. Serve as HR/support departments purchasing agent for the Ariba system and Pcard transactions. 7. Perform staffing/recruitment administration. Support local HR and/or hiring manager surrounding internal/external and hourly/salaried openings through activities such as posting jobs in Workday or via local means, scheduling interviews and related interview logistics, managing post-offer contingencies, and supporting/leading new hire orientation. 8. Administer payroll submissions when needed (for corrections/programs/etc.) 9. Serve as the gatekeeper of the HR record retention program/archiving 10. Maintain data and perform administration of the job bidding/posting process support as needed. 11. Perform program administration. Collaboratively work with other local functions to develop, lead and/or support localized programs to meet business priorities (i.e. Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost) such as HPO, the Way We Work, recognition programs and/or community involvement/events for both community outreach and employee recognition. What you bring to the table... Experience: Minimum of 2 years of general office experience. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required. Skills: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and outstanding customer service skills. * Must be detail-oriented. Ability to handle multiple initiatives within a fast-paced environment. * Proactively able to manage multiple projects, prioritize and adapt to a changing business environment all with a focus on detail, finding solutions and getting results. * Able to work well with both individually and in a team-based environment. * Ability to deliver against key objectives and timelines. * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, etc), Workday (or other HRIS Systems), Kronos Timekeeper/Absence Mgt/Leave modules preferred. * Ability to identify and implement process improvements across HR policies, programs and/or programs. It would be great to have... 3+ years in role providing HR process/operational support preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $48,200-$69,300Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
