We're seeking a dedicated Financial Services Analyst to join the Bourns College of Engineering and support our mission to foster a thriving academic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a shared services center providing financial oversight as it relates to payroll. What Will You Do? As the Financial Services Analyst 3, you will play a key role in supporting the POSSC Shared Service Center and will contribute as a collaborative team member to POSSC's payroll functions, assisting in the accurate preparation, processing, auditing, and reconciliation of payroll activities, while ensuring BCOE's departmental transactions are aligned with compliance and accuracy standards. You will help maintain a payroll-focused reporting process, providing Org-level support on financial transactions directly related to payroll, tracking trends, and identifying potential issues within payroll data. You will work with department staff, payroll analysts, and management, ensuring accurate entry and oversight of payroll information, with a focus on payroll-related errors and trends. Why Join Us? As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete an excel skill assessment. The full salary range for the Financial Services Analyst 3 is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $105,350 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
