The Department of Medicine at University Hospitals is seeking a full scope Certified Nurse Midwife to help continue with our excellent patient care.

Academic appointment, rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and primary board certification.

Compensation is highly competitive.

A Brief Overview

A typical work week for our midwifery team is 12 hours in house on call approximately per week plus office time for a full scope position or an average of 40 hours per week if you desire a hospitalist role.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
