Job Overview
The Master Scheduler is responsible for providing guidance for the planning/scheduling of product line areas as well as serving as a mentor to a team of local production planners. The individual will also oversee inventory control activities for the Lincoln, Littleton, and Londonderry manufacturing facilities. The individual serves as a critical member of the plant leadership team by providing oversite of plant activities related to material flow and customer service. Provides leadership influence to help assure facility goals are met related to safety, quality, productivity, and customer service. Develops, implements, and maintains programs designed to reduce costs, improve inventory turns, and optimize customer service levels. Leads, develops and supports all assigned personnel to maximize their contribution to the success of the business. This position will work closely with the production supervisors/managers as well as divisional teams to ensure execution of effective planning/scheduling and sourcing decisions to meet customer expectations. The successful individual will also work to develop local talent and serve as a role model for the department by leading in a positive and constructive manner. Reporting to this person will be a Data Analyst resource along with indirect reporting of Supply Planning. A Day In The Life
