The Division of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time pediatric otolaryngologist with a subspecialty focus on complex otology to join a mature, busy pediatric otology practice including chronic ear surgery, hearing disorders, cochlear implantation, and congenital ear abnormalities. Joining one of the busiest pediatric cochlear implantation and advanced ear surgery programs in the country, this individual will partner with the Section Chief of Pediatric Otology and Cochlear implantation and will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including surgical interventions, and collaborate on research and education initiatives. This is a non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator position open at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Other responsibilities include resident and fellow education and clinical patient care for pediatric otolaryngology disorders, including service as surgeon of the week and a satellite ambulatory practice location.

Candidates will be enrolled or have completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship, be board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology, and be board-certified or board-eligible in complex pediatric otolaryngology. Strong otology skills are required. Additional fellowship training in otology is not required, but those with a fellowship in both pediatric otolaryngology and otology are highly encouraged to apply. Those with advanced otology training and practice focused on pediatric otology may be considered. Qualified Candidates are required to hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until it is filled.
