Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Project Manager - DSM position, you'll drive the development and launch of innovative, industry-focused products that improve the lives of Seniors Everywhere. You'll collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Sourcing, and Marketing to lead cross-functional project teams from initial concept through to market introduction. Your expertise in project management and commitment to process excellence will play a crucial role in delivering impactful solutions.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Oversee 6-10 concurrent projects to introduce new products and programs to the Direct Supply Branded portfolio, each with an annual revenue impact of $200K to $2M.

  • Lead cross-functional teams of 4 to 6 members to complete projects ahead of schedule and under budget, with typical project durations of 6-12 months.

  • Partner with business lines to drive technology-driven innovations, project implementation, and life cycle support.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of team tasks, meeting project and leadership expectations.

  • Develop project scopes, plans, and timelines; initiate and lead cross-functional project kick-offs.

  • Proactively monitor for potential risks, create risk mitigation plans, and make informed adjustments to keep projects on time and budget.

  • Identify and address out-of-scope project elements, quickly submitting recommendations for scope changes.

  • Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and plans to cross-functional leadership.

  • Cultivate accountability within teams, leveraging functional leadership to address performance issues.

  • Recommend and integrate technologies that accelerate launch times and boost ROI.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, supply chain or other related degree

  • 2+ years project management experience in product development/sourcing

  • 3+ years experience leading cross-functional project teams

  • Demonstrated facilitation skills

Additional Items of Interest:

  • PMP certification

  • Experience working with furniture or healthcare equipment

  • Demonstrated working/influencing at all levels of an organization

  • Trained in: Kepner Tregoe, Lean, QFD or other process/ development methodologies
