In the role of Structural EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
- Analyze member sizes for structural engineering building projects
- Be proficient in the use of Revit to model the building elements that you design
- Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects
- Coordinate with other disciplines including architectural and mechanical
- Communicate verbally, and in writing, to effectively convey information to team members
- Research multiple potential solutions to engineering problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architectural engineering, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Previous structural design experience (internship or full-time work experience) is a plus
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
